Prompt and friendly service, a well-mixed Mai Tai, delicious crunchy fried spring rolls, and green curry + seafood in oyster ginger sauce: delectable! Oh, and the happy hour specials are pretty great too. Highly recommended. Can't wait to return!

Delicious and predictable Thai food in the DC metro area!! Always very good. Eat in or take out. The manager “Nion” has been there for a long time. She is awesome and always goes the extra mile to be sure we are quite satisfied. You won’t be disappointed !!

Pad Z U was great. Would definitely come back next time I'm in town. Fried dumplings were very tasty as well.

Ordered Panang Salmon for dinner. The taste of Curry was really good but it’s wasn’t Salmon fish. When I asked server, she had no answer, just kept smiling. It was a big white fillet of some Bass or Tilapia. Felt cheated

I am a connoisseur of Pad Thai. I've tried it in at least 20 states and on 3 continents. I can confidently state that Haad Thai's Pad Thai is among the finest I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. The entire meal was fantastic!

Everything was great! The service food wait time... As I went in for lunch... Overall experience was a delight!

The food is good albeit a little too sweet. Would be great if it wasn't.

I loved the chicken drunken noodles especially because the flavors were perfect. The meat was chopped into small pieces, almost minced and therefore absorbed the flavor well and was easier to eat (as opposed to large, chunky pieces I find at most other restaurants).

Delicious thai food. Had the Panang Pak, more peanuty than other Thai restaurants I have eaten at, but loved it. Plenty of steamed vegetables in the plate and sauce was flavorful. I appreciate having a separate gluten free menu, reduces the guesswork for people like me to have to eat gluten free. Reasonable prices for DC makes this a place I will be back to.

Food is really good with little wait time. Not very expensive either, at least for lunch. Was a bit loud, but better than some quieter spots. Good value overall.

Stopped by for lunch with colleagues. It was extremely loud. Service was relatively fast. Food was just OK. The Tom Yum soup was overly salty and everyone's food was under spiced.

Wonderful restaurant in downtown DC! Down the street from The Grand Hyatt. Vast menu with plenty of great options. My family is vegetarian and don’t eat fish either. We were pleasantly pleased with their vegetarian menu items that could be made without fish sauce. The portion sizes were generous and they will make spice levels from mild to very spicy.

Sweet and sour beef with mixed vegetables. Beef is tender and juicy! Pineapples make it taste not so fatty.

Beef salad was tasty and has a nice kick to it. Subtly sweet. Crispy duck rolls weren't so crispy but good nevertheless. Noodles in the drunken chicken are a tiny bit too soft and the chicken was very dry.

I like the decor and service. The food tastes good (had Pad Thai and Tom yum soup). It’s not authentic Thai taste (I know because I’ve been to Thailand twice and I love the food) but if you’re craving affordable Thai food, this should work

The food is very good quality for the price and the ingredients taste fresh. They have many classic items you’d expect on a Thai menu and a few more. The service was attentive and everything about the experience was wonderful. Downtown restaurants can be so hit or miss- What a great find!

My hubby and I had dinner here and we both loved our meals. It's located directly across the street from the Grand Hyatt where I was attending a conference. I had a vegetarian dish and he had chicken. Both were absolutely delicious! We heard other patrons around us saying how good their food was as well. Staff was super friendly, attentive and meals are reasonably priced. We saw they have happy hour specials from 5-8 each weeknight. Highly recommend!!!

Fast service. I placed a to go order and it was ready by the time i walked from my hotel. I had drunken noodles and spring rolls, both good, and at a reasonable cost.

Food was enjoyable and reasonably priced. Full of flavour and prepared in a timely fashion. Service left a lot to be desired and I think the hosts due to our dissatisfaction added on the tip before we were presented the bill! This is a first for me in the US. We may have had a uniquely poor service experience so I have given 3 stars rather than 2.

I stop here whenever I'm in DC. Excellent good!

The food was AMAZING! I got the spicy fried duck and it was perfect. The portions were generous. The wait staff very attentive without not being intrusive.

Great Thai food for very friendly prices which might be hard to find in DC. What made it even better were the happy hour offers both for drinks and appetizers, though I wished they had some veggie dumpling options.

I adore this place! I make a point to visit every time I'm in DC. Just absolutely delicious food. You can tell the ingredients are fresh which is important to me. I know old preserved frozen shrimp when I taste it; the shrimp in my pad thai was fresh and delicious.

The food at Haad Thai is pretty good, but the portions are always a bit small. I will leave the place a little hungry. The kaprow and softshell carbs on salad or fried rice always good. The service is always pretty good too.

Authentic Thai food.If you had been to Thailand before, let's try to customise your dish as Thais often do such as a bit more spicy, add some fired eggs.
